PROJECT Concept bathroom of the future
STATUS FINALIST IN COMPETITION
SIZE 20 m2
The bathroom of the future will be a room of leisure without any visible appliances. Conventional appliances and fixtures are removed from the bathroom in order to form a continuous landscape of well-being. Water magically appears wherever it is needed. Taking whatever form necessary. Be it rain, vapor, a pool or a stream. The experience is further enhanced through accentuating lights. Water showers down from above and from the sides in different colors triggered by touch sensors. The water can also come out pressurized for massages or as warm steam for relaxation. Faucets are hidden behind the mirror and drained through a channel in the floor. One can lie down on heated surfaces like in a hammam or enjoy a bath in the hot tub. All walls and ceilings are perforated for optimal water drainage.
